The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates the five-year cost of cleaning up Vermont waters is about $154 million. But as WAMC’s North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley reports, regional officials say the federal agency is underestimating costs. Vermont’s anticipated five-year cost was $154 million.
